If I am taking 'the pill' and I start taking diet pills, what effect will it have?

I am currently on Dianette. What effect, if any will diet pills have on the medication? I have heard that it will reduce, or stop, the contraceptive part but am sceptical.

Ask you pharmacist. It really depends upon what you are intending to take.
