If you gain weight -and as a result get stretch marks, will consequently losing that weight get rid of them?
I have been very for years. I danced in an academy of arts and participated in sports throughout my life. My body began to go through changes as if i were pregnant, but I wasn’t. I was told I had a cysts on my ovary and it was giving off hormones that told my body I was pregnant- anyways, the point is I gained weight. So my toned body gained only weight in my hips, buttocks and chest area. I still got stretch marks on my back thighs -even though I am a hydrated and active individual… I have been losing a little weight and my hips have lost the stretch marks already, but my back thighs are still marked up… Is there any way that if I keep this weight loss going that those marks will go away as well? I am pretty young too, so I guess i have active skin regeneration still.

Stretch marks are caused from many reasons, Weight loss, weight gain along side just growing through puberty. Once you have them there isnt a way to get rid. They will over time fade from red to a silvery colour. Bio oul and palmers coco butter are best, applied twice daily morning and evening. But for a permanent result there are surgical options involving lasers. But this doesnt hold any guarantees and has the surgical risk.

i’m pretty sure stretch marks don’t just go on their own..only after a while do they fade
Bio-Oil is good for getting rid of stretch marks.

No
You cant rid of stretch marks, they’re like scars
you can use different creams and stuff to fade them so they’re less noticeable
there’s also a laser treatment which can fade them so they’re very pale and unnoticeable
all the best xxx
