Diet Questions and Answers
I am 33 weeks they said she is only 3.10 pounds and she is small. I have been having contractions and had to get steroid shots they said she has a good chance of coming early. Is there way way thru a certain diet or foods that will help her gain more weight?

Just eat more.
Eat more meat (well done) and lots of healthy carbs – like wheat bread, spaghetti… your weight doesn’t matter at this point – it’s your baby.

No, Just try to eat healthy foods. Lots of protein. She should still be fine, even if she is a little small. Good luck. Hope she stays in a bit longer. :)

Eat healthy and take care of yourself. Your baby is going to take the nutrients she needs from your body. If you aren’t consuming enough calcium for example she will take it from your bones.

I don’t think there is much you can really do, some babies are just smaller. As far as wanting her to be bigger if she comes early, I am not sure size will have that much effect. The main problem with premature birth is lung and other organ maturity, something that only happens with age.
