Is this a good weight loss plan?
I’m a 15 year old girl, 5’5" around 109 lbs trying to drop 10 lbs within the next few months (more would be good, but 10 is just my goal for now). Will I lose weight if I eat about 1300 calories a day (of super healthy food), walk 8-10 miles daily, do aerobics for a half hour every day and do weight training twice a week?
and how fast will I lose weight on this plan?
thanks :)
actually jac- I’ve been walking 8-10 miles everyday for the past week and it really doesn’t take that much time. And I feel energetic as ever :)

For one, you’re already too thin for your height, so you’re ignorant for trying to lose weight. And two, 8-10 miles, do you realize just how long that would take you? For a reference point, it takes about 20 minutes just to complete one mile, so you’d be walking all day. You’ll lose weight for a few days, but do to lack of nutrition and too much exercise , you’ll be too weak to do anything. This is not a smart and healthy work out plan. You’re too young to be losing weight anyways.

it would actually be kind of unhealthy for you to lose weight. plus you would be too skinny, which is NOT a good thing.

you shouldnt lose weight, you’re at a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly good weight. Depends how many calories you eat now and how much of that stuff you already do. Someone who eats 2000 calories and walks 1-2 miles a day, and doesnt do aerobics or weight training will see faster results then someone who eats 1500 and what not, get me? But seriously, you are at a good weight.
And if you weight train, you’re going to gain weight (muscle) and muscle weighs more than fat.
A more realistic goal would be to get your Body fat measured, and decrease that amount. Some scales have it, and there are other types of things that can measure it that you can buy off like ebay or amazon.
hope it helps!

You don’t need to lose any weight. It would be unhealthy. Try sticking with your weight how it is now.

That would be unhealthy for you. You are the right size now and maybe a little underweight. i suggest that you just eat healthy foods and exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 mins. That way you can still work out and eat healthy but not the unhealthy way your trying to do it.

You’re already underweight why loose that. Maybe you have to tone up. Do you have some extra meat on your stomach or legs?

I’m sure you don’t need to lose that much weight, but you probably want to lose some flab (like me -_-) So don’t over work your muscles and stick with 1 mile ,some crunches and not too much healthy food if you don’t want to eat it! The best way to trim down is to exercise daily, have a BALANCED diet, and plenty of sleep. Good Luck, and be careful how much weight you lose!(You are on a good percentile of a 15 year old thats 5’5" )
