Weight Loss Plan….?
I’m going to be getting a membership at Lifetime Fitness next Friday and right now I’m using my 7-day trial
I’m 15 and I want to lose around 10-20 pounds and I have till the end of July to do it because after that I’m canceling my membership since school volleyball will start and I’ll have no time.
I’m not exactly sure what I should do when I work out and what I should eat.
I want to make my waist smaller and tighter and make my legs lean. Also, I kinda have a big butt…so how can I make it smaller?
What machines should I use and for how long? How much should I weight lift and what areas do I lift more in?
I wanna go back to school in August feeling confident.
Thanks! :)
P.S. I weigh around 150 and I’m about 5’5.
Here’s 2 "body" pics:

You don’t even need to worry about this stuff–you’re fifteen!! You’re still growing, and plus, you have a great body. 10-20 pounds is a LOT of weight but the media makes it sound like people lose that much all the time. They make me damn angry! If you want to be healthier, eat less processed foods because they don’t have any protein or energy or nutrients in them which will sustain you until later meals.

you have about exactly the same body and age as me. i have been losing weight at a steady rate though in preparation for school next year too. I drink about four regular sized bottles a day. Im not too good with exercising, but it best to start with cardiovascular workouts like walking and jogging. that sheds body fat. when you want more muscle and a tighter body, you work on weight lifting and sit ups and such. as for your butt, the new sketchers shoes called tone ups pretty much give you a work out and tone up your butt and thigh muscles just while you walk. they are around a hundred bucks online, but i hear the price is worth it. maybe if you wear those as much as you can this summer you could really get in shape.

Well, first of all You really look fine. But Everyone tells me that and I dont believe them. So its all about you feeling comfortable in your own body.
What time of day you should work out is up to you. Make sure you do it at least 4-5 times a week if you want to see results. do at least 30 mins of cardio a day. which would be walking, jogging, biking, something that makes you have trouble talking and makes you sweat. Do some ab work outs to nip the waist. but the MAIN thing is cut back on food. That is really the key to losing weight. Eat at least 5-6 times a day. Dont freak out. you have to make your PORTIONS smaller. Small , frequent meals throughout the day keep you from being hungry.
Cut out sugar except for specail occasions. Its hard but it works. dont eat heavy stuff late at night. Eat LIGHT in the evenings. Your meals should consist of a complex carbohydrate, simple carbohydrate and protien. In other words a pasta or whole wheat product, a fruit or veggie and meat. three of the 6 times you eat should be light snacks, still a carboydrate and a protien. like cheese and crackers. or fruit and some protien. A favorite of mine is fat free yogurt and wheat germ.
Squats help the butt area. Do 3 sets of 20 starting out. use light weights when working with the arms to tone. heavy weights will bulk you up. brisk walking for several miles up hill will help lean out the legs.
There are lots more tips, but the main thing is. No matter how hard you work out, if you eat how ever you want to, you will NOT lose weight. Dont stress out about it. Have fun, excercise, eat less, lose weight! Dont let it consume you though!!
