Diet Questions and Answers
Hi, I have been ttc for over 10 months, and no luck. My doctor is going to put me on Clomid on my next cycle. I was wondering if any one knows if you have to be on a diet of is there special instructions you have to follow when your on this medication?

You do not have to be on a special diet or anything. Just continue to eat healthy and limit your alcohol intake and cut way down on smoking (if applicable.) If you are going to do a Clomid cycle, you should go into it full force taking care of yourself the best you can. Be sure to take the pill at about the same time each day. Many women take it a bedtime to sleep through any side effects, some take it with lunch. I did 3 cycles and took mine in the late mornings, shortly after I woke up and ate something. I had found that no matter what time I had taken it, I couldn’t avoid the side effects. Some herbs can interact with Clomid, or cancel it out, so if you are taking any herbs (not a prenatal or anything like that) discuss it with your dr. Other than that, eat healthy and take it at the same time each day and you will be fine.
Good luck and baby dust :)
