Like people will say "you can lose fat eating nothing but twinkies if there’s a caloric deficit", but are they losing fat or are they losing "weight" (muscle, bone, etc) and retaining all their fat?

Has anyone ever lost actual fat (and retained muscle mass) on a ****** diet?

since i was about 14 or so (im 24 now) ive never been happy with my stomach. ive never really made an effort to exercise or eat properly. Well as recently as christmas i weighed 210 lbs. I am 5’10”. Since then, I’ve lost 30 lbs and am very happy to be back where I should be. But, I want to lose this baby fat. I know I need to exercise but what kinds? I wanna get rid of the baby fat around my stomach and lovehandles. Whats the best and quickest methods?

I have been dieting and on a weight loss plan for about two months now and have lost 10 pounds and decreased my body fat from 22% to 12%, I need to lose 5 more pounds of fat or lose a couple pounds of fat and gain a couple pounds of muscle in order to get to 8% body fat, i have been at this for a couple weeks and can’t get over the hump.
